This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, in the centre of an undulating rectangular-shaped pasture field with general views of the surrounding areas. An area 33.8m by 19.6m was stripped and a stake-hole and three small pits, possibly waste pits containing deliberately deposited waste material (heat-affected stones, charcoal, chert and flint debitage), perhaps from a hearth, were revealed. A further five pits containing similar material were located c. 9m north-west of this activity.
