This site, located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, was located in a flat field with general views of the surrounding areas. A modern limestone quarry was located to the north of the site. An area 33m by 27m was stripped and five pits and several linear features were revealed. One of the pits was subrectangular and contained charcoal, burnt bone and burnt soil. A further two pits, one of which contained burnt bone fragments, and a hearth were cut into a linear feature (possibly a drainage ditch).
