Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was conducted in the townland of Kilkeasy, Co. Kilkenny, in the course of work carried out for Kilkenny County Council/National Roads Authority during the N9/N10 Waterford to Powerstown scheme (127m OD; Chainage 19490–19860). This area was excavated under licence E3405 (see No. 957, Excavations 2007, A032/043).
