This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown on flat land with a slight eastern aspect, beside a narrow stream. The excavations were carried out only for the last week of 2007. The initial cleaning of the site revealed a number of features including burnt spreads, a possible ring-barrow, a curvilinear ditch and a number of pits. Excavations of all features are to continue next year and a fuller report will be submitted.
