This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4, Knocktopher to Powerstown. An area of 10m by 10m was topsoil-stripped, centring on the previously identified possible archaeological feature. This area was cleaned by hand but nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
