Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was conducted in April 2007 in the townland of Glendonnell, Co. Kilkenny, in the course of work carried out for Kilkenny County Council/National Roads Authority during the N9/N10 Waterford to Powerstown scheme (72mOD; Chainage 9090–9150).
Several pits were uncovered to the east of the area, while to the west a cobbled surface was identified sealing a stone-lined trough. These features were excavated under licence number E3386 (see No. 925 below, A032/042).
