This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4, Knocktopher to Powerstown, on a slight south-facing slope in a field of crop. An isolated pit and isolated post-hole were identified during testing. Two sites, Areas A and B, both measuring 15m by 15m, were opened around each of these features and both areas were cleaned back by hand; however, it was not possible to locate/identify either feature.
