Testing was carried out at Barrowmount, Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny, on a proposed development within the area of constraint for KK025–015, ecclesiastical remains, and adjacent to an earthwork. Four test-trenches were excavated. The proposed development area had been previously infilled by the County Council with large amounts of refuse and rubble, up to 4m deep in places, while constructing the new road that defined the eastern extent of the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
