This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown on top of a prominent hill and contained a large number of pit and post-hole-type features. These did not form any definite shape or structure. There were no finds or clear-cut evidence of function. A number of large peaty deposits in the location appeared to be of natural derivation and it is possible they were open pools in prehistory. The site was not well drained despite its hilltop location.
