Ten test-trenches were opened on the imprint of the site of two proposed dwelling houses. The site is approximately midway between the villages of Freshford and Tullaroan. The nearest archaeological monument, a church and graveyard, is located on the opposing side of the public road to the site. No archaeological features or remains were uncovered in any of the test-trenches, although some field drains were uncovered along the western boundary of the site and evidence was found for cultivation furrows.
