Monitoring was conducted during topsoil-stripping of a site proposed for development at Oldgrange, Monasterevin. The site is c. 11.6 acres in extent.
Three-quarters of the site was stripped of topsoil under monitoring in May and June. The monitor, which was largely carried out in 2006 (Excavations 2006, No. 971), was completed in 2007. No material of an archaeological nature was disclosed.
