The site is located to the south of Main Street South and immediately west of Corban’s Lane, Naas, Co. Kildare. It lies within the zone of archaeological potential for the historic town of Naas. Two trenches were excavated in advance of development of a large retail development with underground car parking. The trenches, oriented east–west, measured 30m in maximum length and 1.2m in maximum depth. Nothing of potential archaeological significance was identified.
