This site was excavated as part of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford scheme, Phase 3: Kilcullen to Carlow. A burnt spread was removed from the site revealing three circular troughs underneath. One of the troughs had a number of stake-holes in the base. There was also a conical-shaped possible well feature under the burnt spread to the east of the troughs. To the south of this area was a stone-lined cut. It was made up of two large upright stones to the south, two to the north, a horizontal stone to the west and three small stones to the east. It was filled with loose stone and charcoal. A flat court-like area was cut into the natural to the east of the stone feature. An arrowhead was also found in the top of this feature. To the south of this area a possible working platform was uncovered. It was made up of an irregular cut feature but it contained an amount of pottery and flint debitage in the upper fill. It also contained an arrowhead.
