This site was excavated as part of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford scheme, Phase 3: Kilcullen to Moone and Athy link road. A small excavation area revealed a subcircular pit, 0.25m north–south by 0.45m, 0.1m deep, which contained a small amount of charcoal in a light-brown silt, several shards of post-medieval pottery and a small ferrous object.
