This site was excavated as part of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford scheme, Phase 3: Kilcullen to Carlow. A small excavation area revealed a single subcircular pit, 0.45m north–south by 0.35m and 0.1m in depth. The pit contained decayed stone and a small amount of charcoal and was of indeterminate date and function. Further analysis of the charcoal is ongoing.
