This site was excavated as part of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford scheme, Phase 3: Kilcullen to Carlow. In this cutting a number of pits were uncovered. They were irregular in shape, measuring between 0.7m and 2m in diameter and between 0.1and 0.8m in depth. Pit 13 was a regular-shaped pit with a layer of charcoal and burning at the edge. It measured 0.8m in depth by 1.2m east–west by 3m. The pit contained a number of flints and pieces of pottery.
