Testing of a proposed development site at Glanbane, Gortatlea, Co. Kerry, was undertaken as part of an assessment. The development consisted of the construction of a single dwelling house and associated services on a greenfield site. The site was partially located within the constraint zone for a burial site (KE039–069). Four test-trenches were excavated on the site and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
