The proposed development consisted of the construction of 63 dwelling houses on a greenfield site at Doonard Lower, Tarbert. The site is not near any known monuments. Thirteen test-trenches were excavated at regular intervals on the site. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered in any of the trenches.
