Testing took place at a proposed development site beside the late 19th-century Sáipéal na Carraige (St Brendan’s Church), Baile na nGall. It is proposed to construct six semi-detached dwellings on the site. There are no known monuments within or near the site. Five trenches were excavated in December 2007. They varied in length from 37m to 76m in length. Only modern drainage features and pits were encountered. Apart from some sherds of modern pottery, there were no small finds. No features of archaeological significance were found at this site.
