An assessment by means of test-trenching was conducted within the grounds of the Presentation Convent, Tuam, on 9 November 2007. The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential for Tuam (GA029–199). One test-trench was excavated at the location of a proposed extension to an existing ramp attached to an external wall of the convent building. No archaeological features were discovered during the assessment.
