Derryfadda Bog was surveyed as part of the Peatland Survey 2007. The bog is situated within the Bord na Móna Derryfadda group and is located to the north of the Derryfadda Works. It is bounded to the north, east and south by the River Suck and separated from Killaderry Bog, to the south, by a lane with turbry plots on either side. An unclassified road runs along dry land on the western side of the bog. The bog is 565ha in size and is split into two production areas. No archaeological features were recorded during the survey.
