It is proposed to construct replacement dwellings on lands at Lissan, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. Prior to planning approval being granted, DOE:EHS had requested that an archaeological evaluation of the sites be conducted, due to the close proximity of FER212–001, the Druid’s Circle, the remains of a dual court tomb. The evaluation consisted of eight test-trenches being excavated within the area of the proposed developments. No evidence of archaeological deposits was identified during the course of the evaluation.
