Archaeological investigations took place as part of the proposed development for the erection of office headquarters and associated access. The site is located on the western flood-plain on the outside of a meander on Upper Lough Erne.
There was a substantial amount of building rubble across the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was found and the susceptibility of the environment to flooding would account for the apparent absence of habitation evidence. However, it cannot be discounted that there could be the potential for occupation on this riverside location.
