Monitoring of road-widening works along the northern section of the Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, was carried out in October and November of 2007. Despite its proximity to the rich archaeological landscape around Carrickmines Castle, there was no evidence for archaeological activity within the area monitored. The area involved was relatively small and was disturbed with modern garden frontages.
