Trial testing was carried out in February 2007 prior to the construction of a pumping station as part of the Balbriggan/Skerries WWTS network improvement contract in a greenfield site located south of Balscaddan Church and graveyard (DU001–003). No finds or features of archaeological significance came to light during testing.
