The proposed foundations to be laid as part of an office development, No. 18 Shore Road, Holywood, indicated that the new building would inhabit the space left by the removal of a concrete slab, which was laid down in the mid-20th century. Testing (January 2007) of the site produced no evidence of any archaeological finds/features.
