An archaeological evaluation took place at a development site that lies close to a medieval church that stands within the confines of an Early Christian rath (DOW056–026). A single trench was mechanically excavated to the surface of the natural subsoil. The evaluation proved a substantial degree of disturbance had occurred on site, probably in relation to the construction of nearby buildings. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
