It is proposed to construct a replacement dwelling to the north-west of 84 Newtownards Road, Greyabbey. Under the terms of the PAC decision, archaeological surveillance of topsoil removal was undertaken. It is suggested in the PAC report that this site may contain prehistoric midden material, as several Neolithic flints were recovered during field-walking in the adjacent area. No evidence of archaeological deposits was identified during the course of topsoil removal.
