Testing was carried out at Fintown, Co. Donegal. The proposed development entails the construction of five dwellings and the installation of a communal sewage treatment system. A graveyard, DG066–001, and a megalithic tomb, DG066–002, are within 1km of the site. A church and graveyard are located in the immediate vicinity of the site. Four test-trenches were excavated through the footprint of the proposed buildings and the access road. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the course of testing.
