Testing was undertaken in the Phase 2 extension and Phase 3 of a proposed development site in Finner townland, Bundoran. Eleven test-trenches, of varying lengths, were excavated throughout the area. Four of the proposed trenches could not be excavated due to access restrictions. The deposits uncovered during the testing were found to be largely uniform throughout the site. In all the excavated trenches the natural was found to be broken ridges of limestone and light-brown and grey gravelly boulder clay. No archaeological features, artefacts or deposits were identified in any of the trenches during the testing programme.
