Pre-development testing was carried out of a site at Falduff, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal. The proposed development comprises the erection of a farmyard shed and all associated works. The proposed development is located c. 50m south of DG011–058, a cashel. Four trenches of varying lengths were excavated across the footprint of proposed construction. No evidence for archaeological material or cultural layers pre-dating the 20th century was observed in any area of the proposed development site.
