The proposed redevelopment of the site saw the existing property demolished to make way for the construction of two apartments. A programme of trial investigations took place in the form of monitoring the foundation trenches. These were excavated with the use of a machine fitted with a flat toothless bucket. The results of the monitoring showed a number of red-brick walls associated with the aforementioned demolished property. Walls associated with the eastern end of the site have been attributed to demolished outbuildings originally on site. No significant features were discovered during the investigations.
