The proposed development site lies largely within a walled garden at Lisleecourt, Courtmacsherry. It is also near a possible ringfort. The garden walls are mostly in good condition. They are of random rubble construction and are c. 3m high. Monitoring of topsoil removal took place on site. There was no trace of a path shown on the OS map of 1842 running from the eastern boundary wall towards the centre of the garden. No finds or features of archaeological significance were noted during monitoring on the site. It is possible that this garden was associated with an 18th/19th-century occupation of Lisleecourt.
