Pre-development testing of a proposed development site at Dromina, Co. Cork, was undertaken as part of a pre-planning assessment. The site comprised a large greenfield area on which it was proposed to construct residential housing. It is not near any known monument. A total of eleven test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development area; no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
