Testing of a proposed development site at Carrigrohane Beg, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, was undertaken. The development consisted of the construction of three dwelling houses, internal roads and associated services on a greenfield site. The site is located within the archaeological constraint zone for a church and graveyard (CO073–044(01–02)). A total of six test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development area and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
