Testing of a development site at Bunalun, Skibbereen, Co. Cork, was undertaken as part of an assessment. The development consisted of the construction of a single dwelling house and associated services on a greenfield site. The site is located within the constraint zone for a mill (CO141–037). Four test-trenches were excavated in the area of the proposed house site and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
