Six trenches were machine excavated on the site at Ballintlea South, Doneraile, which is near a linear earthwork. No features or finds of archaeological significance were noted in the trenches. An extension to this licence was granted to test in an adjoining proposed development site to the south. Six trenches were machine excavated on the adjoining site. No features or finds were recorded in the test-trenches.
