Pre-development testing was carried out on 19 November 2007 in advance of the construction of a library and offices within the zone of archaeological potential for a church and graveyard. Four test-trenches were excavated. The stratigraphy consisted of c. 1.4m of mid-brown sandy topsoil overlying white beach sand. No archaeological features or finds were noted.
