An assessment was carried out in advance of the construction of a proposed slatted agricultural unit and associated site works at Ballinooskny, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare. The proposed development site is situated one field to the south of CL051–066, a ringfort. The site underwent visual inspection and an archaeological assessment. No deposits or artefacts of an archaeological nature were uncovered during this investigation.
