This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, and was identified during testing as post-holes with areas of burnt material. An area 25m by 26m was stripped of topsoil and a series of fourteen post-holes were located which formed a circular structure surrounding a central hearth area with up to 50 associated stake- and post-holes. Two polished stones were recovered.
