This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, on a slight gravel rise. One north–south pit (1m by 0.9m by 0.3m) contained charcoal in a silty clay matrix. An east–west subrectangular possible kiln (1.35m by 0.75m by 0.22m) contained a red, burnt clay base which was covered with a thin charcoal layer, more prevalent at the western end, and then with an ash layer and finally with a sealing layer of silty clay with stones.
