Monitoring was carried out at the site of a golf-course development. Testing in 2006 (Excavations 2006, No. 174) revealed the presence of prehistoric features in close proximity to CW021–001. These features were preserved in situ. Monitoring in 2007 revealed the presence of further prehistoric pits and post-holes. These were subsequently excavated and a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date for these features is likely, based on the pottery and flint artefacts found in association with them.
