This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, and measured 20m by 20m. A substantial ditch measuring 3.5m wide ran for 20m east–west across the site. At the western side of the site was a large area of burning which represented a phase of ditch clearance. This is likely to have occurred as part of land management in antiquity. Radiocarbon dating and environmental analysis are pending and will be discussed in a final archaeological report.
