It is proposed to construct a new residential development on land adjacent to the Derriaghy Road, Breton Hall, Lisburn, Co. Antrim. Monitoring took place in advance of the construction work, which revealed the remains of a large burnt-mound spread, along with a few isolated features. Excavation of this spread revealed an intensively used site, including five troughs and associated subsoil-cut features.
