An archaeological evaluation took place at this site at Coolkeeran Road, Magherahoney, Armoy, in advance of development. The site lies close to an Early Christian rath (ANT013–022). Five test-trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the natural subsoil. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
