An archaeological evaluation was carried out at this site in advance of development. The development site lies close to Crew Hill (ANT064–026), a supposed inauguration site of the Dal Fiatach and Dal nAraide. Two test-trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the natural subsoil, with nothing of archaeological significance being noted.
