An archaeological evaluation was carried out at The Cottage, High Street, Cushendall, Co. Antrim, in response to an application for renovation of a late 19th-century estate stable block. The development site lies within the Cushendall area of archaeological potential. Five trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the subsoil. A number of pieces of early 19th-century ceramic were recovered from the trenches, but no features of archaeological significance were encountered in the evaluation.
