It is proposed by Water Service to construct a new service reservoir at Crew Hill, Co. Antrim. An archaeological evaluation was conducted for the site. This consisted of the excavation of a number of test-trenches across the area of the proposed development. This evaluation revealed a series of subsoil-cut features, one of which can be dated, by pottery finds, to the mid-Neolithic period.
