It is proposed to construct a new warehouse for the storage of full whiskey barrels at the Old Bushmills Distillery, 2 Distillery Road, Bushmills. An archaeological evaluation was conducted at the site. This consisted of the excavation of three test-trenches across the area of the proposed development. The evaluation revealed no evidence of archaeological deposits and indicated that the development area has been artificially raised by over 2m across the entire area of the site.
