It is proposed to construct a residential development comprising fifteen three-storey houses and a six-storey complex of 55 apartments at Pilot Street, Belfast. An archaeological evaluation was conducted at the site. This consisted of the excavation of six test-trenches across the area of the proposed development. The evaluation revealed no evidence of archaeological deposits and indicated that the development area has been heavily truncated by modern building activity.
